My daughter, Steph, and I tackled a little project the other evening.
This is a great way to reuse baby food or other small jars and scrap wood.
We followed this great tutorial, so I’m not going to go into a ton of detail here.
If you want to make your own and have questions, follow the link.
We laid out all our supplies on the dining room table and gave the baby snacks and toys.
This was Steph’s first time handling a drill.
Measuring to make sure we had the clamps centered and evenly spaced was a bit tedious.
The little clamps are ready for jars!
Although it can be hung, I opted to prop my new votive holder / bud vase against the wall.
Isn’t the little kitty teapot so cute? She’s a recent antiquing treasure.
Doesn’t it cast some pretty shadows?
I think at some point I will hang it on the back porch, but for now…
…I like it in the kitchen where I can see it most of the day.
My new wall decor is making me smile.
Thank you for stopping by today!!
